Start Accepting Tips Online in 3 Minutes

QUID has everything you need to accept contributions as low as 1¢ for your posts, podcasts, or anything else you create. More recently, we've been spending a lot of our time simplifying the entire seller experience, trying to make it as easy as possible for you to start accepting payments.

Our latest product to hit the shelves is the QUID web button.

A web button is an embeddable payment button that you can add to your website as easily as adding a YouTube video. Absolutely no coding required.

First minute

To accept payments with QUID you need a merchant, or seller, account. The signup process is short: provide your name, business name, website address, email password, and country. The signup page will show you a preview of what your payment page will look like.

Once you have submitted the signup form, check your email for an account verification message and complete the verification step. Once you have verified your account you are immediately able to start accepting payments.

Second minute

Once you have completed the account verification, you will be automatically taken to your QUID merchant dashboard. Here you will find the web button section of your dashboard and, of course, it's empty.

To create your first web button, click the + icon and configure your web button using the button builder.

Select the colour and size of the button, the text to display on the button, and the amount of the payment (between 1¢ and $2). Click CREATE to save your new web button and view the embed code.

Copy the web button embed code to your clipboard using the COPY button.

Third minute

How the button gets added to your particular website will depend on what website hosting tools or service you use. In general, most tools and services will allow you to add an HTML or code block to a web page or blog post. Paste your copied embed code for the QUID web button into your HTML or code block and save and/or publish your changes.

That's it! Your button is now live, and your audience can tip you instantly.
